  32. When I was at the NE ARRL flea in Boxboro, MA I talked with the Alinco
  33. rep. He told me to expect this radio on the shelves by Thanksgiving with a
  34. price tag of $350 to $400.

  66. I have a 530 and just bought a Larsen Dual Band Mag Mount antenna for 
  67. the car.  I have noticed quite bad intermod on the UHF side of the HT
  68. when connected to the antenna.  I have not noticed much with the rubber
  69. duckie that comes with the radio.  I have had the 530 for about 18 months
  70. and I compared it to a friend's that he purchased less than 6 months ago.
  71. His radio seemed much less susceptible to intermod when connected to my
  72. antenna.  Perhaps they have improved it in the later models.

  74. Since the 440 repeater I frequent has a PL, I can use Tone Squelch to 
  75. cut out most of the intermod.
